In Val Thorens a new plant and a new track for the 2017-2018 season

The inthesnow.com website reports that SETAM, the Val Thorens plant company, invested 14 million euros this summer to transform the current Moraine chairlift into a cable car for the 2017-2018 season.

The ski resort that will be served by the new plant is popular among skiers and snowboarders of any level, and beginners are paid special attention, 10-seat heated cabins will offer easier and safer transport. Val Thorens will also open a fourth, new blue track in the Plein South section, which descends from the top of the resort through a "balcony" dominating the country. It is expected that this track will be very popular especially at the end of the day: the skiers of the immense Les Trois Vallées area will find a simple track to close the day on the snow. The next ski season of Val Thorens will open on Saturday, November 18, 2017 and traditionally the winter in the resort of Savoy opens with a famous ski test open to all enthusiasts.
