In Sestriere Easter is celebrated with the 37th edition of the Golden Egg, the classic end-of-season event that every year attracts many young skiers.

The appointment is for March 31 on the ski slopes of Vialattea. Not only athletes from alpine skiing, but also Nordic skiing can participate. The giant slalom will take place in Sestriere, while in Pragelato, the home of Nordic skiing as well as an Olympic venue, cross-country ski races will take place on different lengths according to the categories in the race (from 1 km for Super Baby to 7) , 5 km for the students).
Also this year five tracks will be prepared, thus allowing the competitors of the five categories, Super Baby, Baby, Puppies, Boys and Students, born from 2002 to 2011, to compete at the same time.
Each participant will receive several gifts including a backpack offered by Cisalfa containing custom gadgets for the event, Audi cap, Ricola sweets, Santal fruit juice, Lauretana water, Maison della Nocciola lady kisses, Carioca pennarelli, Caffe Vergnano wafers, Bontà soup of Season, Dove deodorant, a Cisalfa discount coupon and many other gifts.
The first classified ski club, in addition to the classic trophy will also celebrate the victory with the giant chocolate egg. For the allocation of the title will be added the points (as in the World Cup) of the athletes with the best placement, a female and a male for each category, for each Ski Club, excluding the Super Baby category. In the last three editions the trophy has been won by the Ski Club Sansicario, while for the Nordic skiing the winner of last year was the Ski Club Entracque Alpi Marittime.
In the afternoon there will be the parade of all the ski clubs and the award ceremony in Piazza Fraiteve along with the extraction of fantastic prizes for athletes, coaches and clubs. Cross-country skiing prizes will be awarded immediately at the end of the Pragelato race, while the awarding of the trophy for the first classified ski club and the prize draw will take place in Sestriere together with the alpine skiing.
The first 10 classifieds of alpine skiing and the first 5 of Nordic skiing, in addition to the classic cup and the surprise pack full of beautiful prizes, will win the Rossignol windstopper customized for the event. In addition, the first classified alpine skiing will win the Bollé helmet while the first of the Nordic skiing Bollé glasses.
The AUDI Trophy will be awarded to the female and male alpine ski winner, with greater distance to the second classified.
