Skipass for a weekend of competitions with tightrope walkers in snowboard and freestyle skiing: the big air show with the Azzur

From October 31 to November 3, in Modena the classic event that opens the winter sports season.

The Skipass Fair will propose, as last year, a weekend of competitions with tightrope walkers of snowboard and freestyle ski protagonists. The tables, on Saturday 2 November, will kick off the competitive side of the four days of Emilia; the second stage of the World Cup of the Big Air specialty will also see four Italians in the race, namely Loris Framarin, Emiliano Lauzi, Nicola Liviero and Emil Zulian. The races will be staged starting from Saturday morning: the men (divided into two groups of 25 each) will go up on the trampoline for the qualifying sessions at 10.05 am and 12.10 am. Then space for 30 women, who will perform in two attempts starting at 14.30. Those who qualify, ie six athletes and ten athletes, will take turns in the three final jumps with starting times set at 18.30. The Big Air of snowboarding follows the first seasonal CdM races held last August in Cardrona: in the New Zealand stage, the American team was the master in the male category, able to win first and second place respectively with Chris Corning and Redmond Gerard. Among women, however, the success brought the signature of the Finnish Enni Rukajarvi. SKI FREESTYLE The last day of Skipass will see the Big Air freestyle go on stage. On Sunday 3 November, for the second stage of the World Cup of specialty, the blue ds Cesare Pisoni chose nine athletes: these were Silvia Bertagna, Elisa Maria Nakab, Leonardo Donaggio, Matteo Giacomuzzi, Simon Leitner, Filippo Levis, Rene Monteleone, Kilian Erik Morone and Ralph Welponer. The program will take place starting at 9.35 am: the men's qualifications will start, with the men divided into two groups of 20. The same will be the mechanism for women, committed instead at 1.40 pm. Starting at 5 pm the six best men, and the ten best women, will take turns in the three final jumps. The Modena stage follows the opening races of the season, staged in Cardrona, New Zealand. In the female category the Chinese dominion was clear, with Kexin Zhang and Eileen Gu, able to climb the highest steps of the podium. Among the males instead, Americans Birk Irving and Aaron Blunck did very well, respectively in first and third place, among them the Canadian Noah Bowman.
