Carezza, Cortina (double stage), Piancavallo, the new Livigno and Cervinia: CdM of snowboarding with lots of blue

Here are the calendars of the maximum circuit for the parallel disciplines and for snowboard cross: Moioli & Co. at the start already at the end of October with the inclusion of Les Deux Alpes.

During the Milan congress, the FIS also announced the 2022/23 calendars regarding the parallel snowboard and snowboard cross World Cup. The definition of some locations is still missing, but the base is all there and there will be 18 individual competitions (for both men and women) and 5 team tests for the parallel disciplines, with the start scheduled on 3-4 December from China, to then arrive in Germany (also in this to define the location) and face two of the four Italian stages. On December 15th, in fact, there is the traditional PGS on the "Pra di Tori" in Carezza, then on the 17th the night on the Faloria for the other great classic of Cortina, but in addition to the confirmation of Piancavallo, with the Friulian appointment fixed for 11-12 March with PSL and team competition, here is the news from Livigno with PGS and PSL on 4-5 February, even if the date is still awaiting ratification. The other events, with the World Championships that we remember, will be staged in Bakuriani, Georgia, from 19 February to 4 March 2023: new year at the start from Scuol, for the usual parallel giant on the Swiss snow, then Austria with Bad Gastein (10- 11 January, PSL and then the first team event of the season) and Lackenhof (14-15, always with an individual and a team competition), before facing two long away matches with Bansko (21-22 January), for a PGS and a PSL, and the flight to Canada for the Blue Mountain races (PGS and team event, January 28 and 29). In March, after the Piancavallo stage, the usual closure between Rogla (PGS on 15 March) and Germany, with Berchtesgaden to be confirmed for the PSL on 18 March and the team competition on Sunday 19 March 2023. There will be two events in Italy in the snowboard cross CdM, which will already experience a good news at the start of the season: it will even start on October 28-29, with an individual competition (as always for both genres) in Les Deux Alpes. Pause before flying to China (location to be defined), 10 and 11 December, then Cervinia with its great classic (17-18 December), this time preceding Montafon, moved to 20-22 December both with individual competition and usual team trial in the Austrian town. Another month of stop to arrive at 21-22 January 2023 with an individual race in Austria (location to be defined), then here is Cortina (27-28 January) after the splendid debut of 2021. Canada to face an individual race and one teams in Mount St. Anne, from 3 to 5 February, the world championships in Bakuriani and finally, on 10-12 March in Sierra Nevada and the classic finals of Veysonnaz (18-19 March), in both cases with a test individual and team.
