Thursday on the track Pra di Tori Caress happening the first alpine snowboard races, a parallel giant male and one female. Italy will field 12 representatives, 9 men and 3 women: Daniele Bagozza, Maurizio Bormolini, Mirko Felicetti, Roland Fischnaller, Hannes Hofer, Marc Hofer, Aaron March, Gabriel Messner, Christoph Mick, Giulia Gaspari, Nadya Ochner and Elisa Profanter. The same group held on Saturday the parallel slalom in Cortina d'Ampezzo night.
In Montafon, Austria, also kicks off the World Cup snowboard cross. Thursday there will be qualifying, Friday the two races, the masculine and the feminine, and ending Sunday the team event happening. The Azzurri will be on track 9, 7 men and 2 women: Fabio Cordi, Michele Godino, Thomas Leoni, Luca Matteotti, Emanuel Perathoner, Lorenzo Sommariva, Omar Visintin, Raffaella Brutto and Michela Moioli.
