Michela Moioli works on the start in Selvino thanks to Neveplast: "A crazy job"

The Bergamo-based company has created, together with Selvino Sport, a very useful pump track for the preparation of the Olympics. And soon the young people of the ski clubs will also be able to go.

Michela Moioli and Neveplast, together to test a multipurpose track in the heart of Selvino. Just in recent days, the star of the snowboard cross has tested the pump track in synthetic material that can be used for training, thanks to the enormous work done by the Bergamo-based company such as the champion of Alzano Lombardo, in collaboration with the team of Selvino Sport. A project that involves the snowboard cross and ski cross specialists, but already in the first weeks of June a small competitive center will be opened to allow even the ski clubs to bring their kids to train, with three departures designed for skiers. "Luckily there are companies like Neveplast, capable of believing in our sport - said Moioli in the interview granted to Camilla Ronchi to formalize the birth of the Neveplast Start Section - It was exactly what I was looking for to complete the puzzle of the summer training. It really feels like being in the snow and then ... my mother will be happy, since initially I wanted to put the structure in the garden instead of the swimming pool ". Technically, it is “a very flat start, with small whoops that give me the opportunity to create speed; the start is essential, especially on short slopes, and this one designed with Neveplast and Selvino Sport, or a smaller and flatter structure, is ideal because I can repeat the technical gesture several times where I usually struggle the most. The departures that I prefer, however, are the steepest, physical and least technical ones ". Michela is from Bergamo as Neveplast, proud of her land and its citizens, especially after what happened with the drama linked to Covid-19: “We know the concept of resilience well and I can say that, speaking of the company, I am happy because Neveplast does everything to spread the culture and practice of winter sports even starting from the city. I am a perfectionist and I am never satisfied, in the summer I always try to invent something to improve and my worry was the Start Section. Now a week in June to train on the Stelvio snow, then we will see the situation considered; certainly, however, I will often go up to Selvino because it is only half an hour's drive from home. Indeed, I will often do it by bike to train even more and at the same time respect the environment, it is an aspect that I usually take care of ". Bergamo was included as a stage of the snowboard cross World Cup, on 16-17 January 2021 for a historic first; right in the city center, Neveplast has built Urban Ski Lab, a slope where the children of two high schools learn to ski during physical education lessons, directly in the school garden. "A cool and an innovative format that should be copied from many other cities in Italy and abroad - the comment of the blue champion - I wish I had this opportunity too when I attended school ...". If Bergamo is his home in all respects, Michela underlines how “Livigno is my second home, where I find the right tools to train in every season: in winter the slopes, in summer the gym, the athletics track, bikes and much else. A real paradise and working on the heights is essential. I take this opportunity to launch a challenge to Giorgio Rocca: an appointment on the track, maybe Neveplast, you with snowboard and I with skis ... ".
