The blue tables are ready to give a show even in the home stage, for the last appointment of 2019 (as regards the alpine snowboarding specialties) scheduled for Thursday on the snows of Carezza.
In a few hours, in fact, the two parallel giants of the World Cup on the “Pra di Tori†track will be staged, with captain Roland Fischnaller starting again as a big favorite, after the successes of Bannoye and Cortina, for a resounding trio that would strengthen his leadership in the standings. And among women, Italy will focus on a growing and winning Nadya Ochner right here, twelve months ago; to celebrate that success, the 'blue' has received "his" gondola (in the picture), as happens to all the winners of the World Cup race in Carezza. "It had never happened to me, an honor for me," said Nadya. "Some boys have already told me that from now on they will only go up on that one, and then I will work to add others with my name."
The show will start tomorrow at 9.00 am with the qualifiers, before the final stages scheduled at 13. And the wait can only be for the squadron of the male sector led by Roland Fischnaller, who has already won twice in Carezza. "I'm fit and the track is perfect - Captain Fisch said on the eve - We hope it stays so hard because, as we saw in Cortina, my materials are good on hard surfaces. No particular pressure, but I have strong opponents and I have seen very good Russians and Austrians, not counting my national team mates ... "
