The baby mountaineer Federico Tomasi completed the feat between September and October. The emotion of father Fabio: "Hugging my son on the top of Monviso remains an unforgettable moment".

For over a couple of years he had dreamed of those two peaks. Federico Tomasi di Beinasco, municipality on the outskirts of Turin, after having climbed the 4,478 meters of the Matterhorn, the seventh peak and third Italian mountain in mid-September, accompanied by the Trentino mountain guide Matteo Faletti, for his second conquest in the Cottian Alps, the Monviso, father Fabio also joined us. After sleeping at the Quintino Sella refuge, on Sunday they reached the 3,841 meters of the “Re di Pietra”, from the east side, which the snow that has fallen in recent days has made it even more difficult. Before now, not only in Italy, no one at the age of Federico, who is in the second grade, had ever climbed two mountains of such importance. In 2022 the goal is the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in the Dolomites.
