In March of 2013, The first climber to do the concatenation and winter solo of the 4 peaks of Matterhorn departure from the camp Bossi, Ferggen climb to the crest of the cliffs by the way (signing also the first solo winter ascent of the street) and down from the ridge and then Hörnli across the base of the north wall and climb again to the Zmutt ridge and then deal with the Lion ridge. Another record. Yet he does not feel man of records. It ' very good, prepared and methodical in his training, but does not feel like a hero. It ' Valle d'Aosta, maybe a po'atipico attitudes, gentle and breezy front of the cameras, it has the look of pure and smiling who does extraordinary things for the sheer pleasure of doing them. I met a man in love with the mountain in all its forms, bewitched by the magic of the conquest, aware that the fear is the best travel companion because mitigates the ignorance and irrationality. Barmasse is born and raised at the foot of the Matterhorn, in a family in which the profession of mountain guide is handed down from father to son and in my veins flows the passion and desire.

In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
