On Netflix the film of the 14 8000ers climbed in just over 6 months by Nirmal Purja

On November 29, the documentary that tells the story of the former gurkha, an authentic logistic and mountaineering masterpiece, will be available on the streaming platform all over the world.

The ex-Nepalese military chosen in the service of the Crown has put everything on the line, giving up a very well-paid profession, for a dream, a project that seemed risky. “14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible” is the title of the film, exclusive to Netflix, translated into 31 languages, which retraces two years later the hunt for 8000 completed in just 6 months and 6 days by Nirmal Purja. Reinhold Messner, the first to succeed in 1986 (he in alpine style, without oxygen) to climb Everest and the other great peaks in the Himalayas, Karakorum and Kashmir, had taken 16 years. The fastest before Nirmal Purja was in the dance however over 7 years and 10 months. The even more incredible thing about the “Project Possible 14x7” is the fact that it declared before that its eight-thousanders tour would be closed within 7 months. And so it was between 23 April 2019 with the ascent of Annapurna and 29 October on Shisha Pangma, for a total of 189 days. And he also made a feature film about it, since he and his staff shot the images.
