Oberhof's daring men's relay closes with the four big powers to occupy the top four positions in the final classification.

Despite Johannes Boe's failure to travel, Tarjei Boe's resignation after yesterday's "accident" with a return to his steps to recapture a forgotten penalty round by the hair; despite a penalty round by Johannes Dale and the attempt to throw away a race dominated by the thrill of the round paid by Christiansen at the last polygon which required an effort to retake Quentin Fillon Maillet, Norway, after having conquered the women's race it also imposes itself in the men's relay race in Oberhof.

The ascent continues with Simon Desthieux who, although not very fast on skis, uses only one recharge going up to fourth position and hooking Germany and a surprising Belarus at about thirty seconds from the Norwegians. The hooking and overtaking operation, as mentioned, takes place at the last polygon thanks to Quentin Fillon Maillet who, however, is made to joke by Christiansen in the last lap closing at 4.4 seconds.
There are also two penalty rounds for a foul Germany which closes in third place at 48.2; Patrick Horn (0 + 3) doesn't start well with his 38 seconds of gearbox delay and Johannes Kuehn (1 + 3) is forced to attend the penalty lap; Peiffer (0 + 5), despite the many refills and thanks to the mistakes of the opponents, brings the hosts back to the podium area in about thirty seconds. The German dream ends with the penalty round at the last polygon of Benedikt Doll (1 + 3) which leads Germany to have to settle for third place at 48.2.
Even in the men's field the day is to be forgotten; the launch of Thomas Bormolini is excellent (0 + 1) who could have nominated him for "pitcher" in the world event in Anterselva but Dominik Windisch falls into a ditch. fortunately without further consequences despite the danger of an unprotected curve, and its performance at the next polygon pays for all the psycho-physical consequences of the risk taken. The world champion of the Mass Start closes his fraction (1 + 4) in twentieth position at 2.32.5. There is also a penalty lap for Saverio Zini (1 + 5) and four for Thierry Chenal (4 + 4) for the twenty-third place at 7''27 ".
