Tiril Eckhoff puts the signature on the sixth consecutive victory in a Sprint despite an error in the standing range. A little less than two months from second place in the Oberhof Sprint, Dorothea Wierer returns to the podium with third place.

The Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff (0-1), once again setting the best time on skis where only the French Justine Braisaz pays 5 seconds while the rest of the group accuses at least 20 seconds of delay, once again obtains the victory in the Sprint which opened the second stage of Nove Mesto.
The second classified, Denise Herrmann (0-0), who finds a podium that she missed from the opening race of the season, closes with a gap of 6.1 seconds and precedes Dorothea Wierer (0-0) who, at 10.5, with the third place goes back to the podium that was missing from the second position in the Sprint of Oberhof on January 14th.
Franziska Preuss (0-1) is fourth at 17.3 seconds and precedes the excellent Yuliia Dzhima (0-0) of this part of the season, fifth at 30.5.
