After more than seven years, Lukas Hofer returns to the top step in the World Cup by imposing himself in the Nove Mesto Sprint.

The blue (0-0) who had returned to the podium in Nove Mesto stages the perfect race: a 10/10 shooting and the best time on skis where he inflicts a 4 second gap to Johannes Boe. Lukas Hofer runs the 10 km with bib number 4 and ascertained to be the leader at the finish with a 46.1 advantage over Johannes Boe (2-0) saw the hopes of his opponents crumble, arrival after arrival.
The last one to make the chills run in the back is the Swedish Sebastian Samuelsson (0-0) who on skis scores the same time as the blue but loses the game in the times at the shooting range closing in second position at 4 .0 from Hofer. A few minutes later Quentin Fillon Maillet shows up at the last polygon with the same time as Hofer but has to lower the flag for a mistake on the first target.
