Biathlon: Fillon Maillet bis in the Pursuit and yellow bib, Bormolini nineteenth

In front of the home crowd, Quentin Fillon Maillet obtained his eighth career victory preceding a continuous Latypov and the Norwegian Christiansen. The Frenchman also received the World Cup leader bib.

Johannes Boe sets the race on the rhythm as often happens in the occasions in which he finds himself starting in first position in a Pursuit test but misses twice in the first polygon while the Russian Latypov is perfect; Laegreid, Jacquelin and Fillon Maillet are not mistaken, who with Smolski find themselves chasing at 25 seconds. There are few errors in this session with Johannes Boe dropping to 41.7 seconds while Bormolini with a 5/5 finds himself in fifteenth position at 1.05.2. "False" start for Lukas Hofer with three errors that weigh a lot and force him to navigate beyond the fiftieth position. Latypov shows up at the second polygon with a 20-second advantage over the 4 pursuers but makes a mistake once and finds himself with Jacquelin and Fillon Maillet not making a mistake. At 14.6 seconds, with 10/10 on the ground, there is Christiansen; Laegreid, Johannes Boe and Smolski are in around 20 seconds. Bormolini continues to make no mistake and is thirteenth at 55 seconds halfway through the race. In the climb of the third lap Emilien Jacquelin goes to the attack who conquers a few seconds only to be restarted while Johannes Boe overtakes Laegreid and approaches Christiansen. It is Fillon Maillet who is not wrong like Christiansen who finds Latypov at 24 seconds after the penalty lap. Smolski is fourth at 36 seconds, Laegreid at 37.8 while Jacquelin pays the imposed pace, misses twice, and finds himself 43.4 seconds, 5 ahead of Johannes Boe. Thomas Bormolini limits the damage and with an error finds himself in twelfth position at 1.28.1. In the ovation of the home crowd, Quentin Fillon Maillet goes to 20/20 and flies towards the second consecutive victory in the format. Nor are Christiansen and Latypov wrong to fight for second place at 30 seconds. Eighth career victory for Fillon Maillet (20/20) who at the finish line comes with a lot of flag and 16.1 ahead of Latypov (18/20) in third second place in his career; third place for Christiansen (20/20) at 16.2. The Belarusian Smolski (19/20) is fourth at 32.8 ahead of Johannes Boe (17/20) fifth at 43.3. Sixth Laegreid (19/20) at 52.9 and seventh Tarjei Boe (19/20) at 1.09.8 for four Norwegians in the top seven. Eighth place and best career result for the Russian Khalili (20/20), Jacquelin ninth (15/20) and Lesser tenth (19/20). Thomas Bormolini (0-0-1-2) is nineteenth at 2.11.0 while Lukas Hofer (3-0-1-0) is thirty-second at 3.23.8.
