Defeated Sunday by the Boe brothers in the opening Sprint, the French champion takes a quick revenge on the 20 km of the most classic test.

Martin Fourcade imposes himself with an almost perfect race where he sets the fastest time on the skis stained only by an error in the last polygon that forces him to fight in the fifth lap with compatriot Simon Desthieux, detached at the finish line of only 12 seconds for the same errors for the minute of penalty paid in the second session.
The French triumph is completed by Quentin Fillon Maillet's third place that despite three errors closes in third place at 1.50.8 from the transalpine captain ahead of 27 seconds Emilien Jacquelin, two errors for him. Team performance completed by Fabien Claude's seventh place, just 4 seconds from the fifth position that would have been historic.
Scrolling down the rankings, the first non-French biathlete is Swiss Benjamin Weger who, with an error, finished fifth at 2.28.2 from Fourcade ahead of 6 tenths Tarjei Boe who paid as many Norwegian material problems to the point that his brother Johannes Thingnes, tenth at 3.12.6, paid almost two and a half minutes on skis at Fourcade.
After the third place in Sunday's Sprint, the Russian Matvey Eliseev, eighth, is confirmed in condition, preceding his compatriot Loginov nono around the three-minute gap.
Lukas Hofer, third time on skis just 4 seconds from Fourcade, pays 5 minutes of penalty with three errors at the second polygon, for the nineteenth final square; is twenty-eighth with two errors Thomas Bormolini, forty-eighth Dominik Windisch (5 penalties), further back, seventy-ninth, Daniele Cappellari
