An all-Norwegian podium in the Oberhof Pursuit but Johannes Boe is missing, eighth with 7 errors. Excellent performance by Lukas Hofer who, with a penalty of 4 laps, is fifth.

Little happens in the first lap with Johannes Boe extending up to 16 seconds ahead of his brother Tarjei while Lukas Hofer and Dale are at 35 seconds with Laegreid at 30. Only Johannes Boe is wrong at the shooting range and finds himself shoulder to shoulder with Tarjei all '' exit of the shooting session while Laegreid, Hofer and Dale are within a dozen seconds. The sixth, Fabien Claude, is already 46 seconds behind the lead.

The last shooting session upsets the ranking; Tarjei Boe misses three times, two Dale, once Laegreid and twice Lukas Hofer. Sturla Laegreid comes out with a 10.7 lead over Dale, 21.2 over Tarjei Boe, 33.2 over Fabien Claude (18/20), 37.1 over Jakov Fak (19.1) and 41.7 over Hofer.
Sturla Laegreid resisted Dale's return and won for the fourth time this season with a 15.6 lead over Johannes Dale; the all-Norwegian podium is completed by Tarjei Boe at 25.4; fourth Claude at 30.7 and fifth place for Lukas Hofer at 36.4.
