The Boe brothers are not enough to save Norway after the Johannes Dale disaster. Italy grants a rest session at the tip Hofer and, thanks to the excellent fractions of the young Bionaz and Giacomel, is fifth.

The German Lesser (0 + 1) and the Norwegian Laegreid (0 + 2) impose themselves in the launch fraction with 6.5 seconds ahead of the Russian Babikov (0 + 0), 9.3 over Guigonnat's France (0 + 3), 14.2 over the Kazakh Mukhin (0 + 1); the Ukrainian Pryma (0 + 2) and an excellent Didier Bionaz (0 + 2) are at 20 seconds. Sweden disappears due to an unfortunate fraction of Peter Femling (3 + 6).
A 5/5 in the ground range allows the Russian Eliseev to take the lead with Rees and Johannes Dale; Pidruchnyi and Giacomel are not wrong and, with Quentin Fillon Maillet, a reload, they find themselves in about ten seconds. They find themselves in five with Giacomel to a few seconds at the entrance of the standing session. Everyone is wrong except Giacomel (0 + 0) who goes away with Eliseev ((0 + 1); the German Rees (0 + 1) leaves the polygon in about ten seconds, Fillon Maillet (0 + 4) is at 20 seconds, the Finndese Seppala (0 + 0) and Pidruchnyi (0 + 3) at half a minute.Johannes Dale (1 + 6) runs into another disastrous stage in Relay and has to pay a penalty lap.
At the halfway mark, she leads Russia with 13 seconds ahead of Italy, Germany and France; Ukraine and Finland are at 29 seconds and Norway, seventh at 38.1. On the ground Thomas Bormloini has to use a recharge and loses contact with Desthieux and Peiffer to then recover it in the second lap of the fraction. Loginov (1 + 3) pays duty with a standing penalty lap while Peiffer (0 + 1), Bormolini (0 + 2) and Desthieux (0 + 1) use a reload and the four find themselves facing the last lap of the third fraction in a matter of seconds, followed by Tarjei Boe (0 + 2) at 22 seconds and the Ukrainian Tyshchenko (0 + 1) at 35.1.
At the last change, France and Germany have an 8-second lead over Russia, 18 over Norway and 33 over Italy. Ukraine are fifth at one minute and 10 with Austria and Finland.
First Latypov and then Johannes Boe return to the leading pair and make no mistake on the ground while Jacquelin and Doll pay a top-up and find themselves in about ten seconds; a recharge also for Windisch who comes out with a 25-second advantage over Eberhard and Dudchenko.
In the second lap, Johannes Boe trims 13 seconds to the Russian who is joined by Jacquelin; the Norwegian (0 + 1) uses a standing reload and finds himself with Jacquelin (0 + 1) at 4 seconds. Doll (0 + 3) and Latypov (0 + 3) find themselves dueling for the third step of the podium while Windisch (0 + 3) consolidates the fifth Italian place.
The duel for the victory sees Jacquelin burn Johannes Boe at the entrance to the Anterselva stadium; France (0 + 9) wins the second consecutive men's relay with 0.8 over Norway (1 + 9). Third place at 50.8 for Russia (1 + 7) which precedes Germany (0 + 6) by 4 seconds. Italy (0 + 7) fifth, despite the absence of Lukas Hofer, as 1.55.1
