Ready, go, for the Single Mixed Relay that closes the two weeks of the World Cup in Nove Mesto and the most significant fact of the first polygon is the hesitation of Julia Simon who, using two reloads, finds herself chasing at 20 seconds in the belly of the long theory of committed teams. The Frenchwoman (0 + 3) recovers in the second lap and with a perfect polygon gives the change to the command followed by an excellent Michela Carrara (0 + 0) at 5 seconds with the Canadian Lunder (0 + 3). A little further back Merkushyna (0 + 2), Tandrevold (0 + 2) and Dunklee (0 + 3). The Russian Kuklina (0 + 2) is 20 seconds behind Hauser (0 + 3).
Unfortunately Tommaso Giacomel in the session on the ground has to manage three errors while it is Sturla Laegreid and Antonin Guigonnat who form a tandem in command. Laegreid (0 + 1) takes command of operations as Guigonnat (2 + 3) collapses. Simon Eder (0 + 0) with Austria is second at the exchange rate at 14.6, Sean Doherty (0 + 1) at 16.6, Giacomel (0 + 3) fourth at 21.8 with Samuelsson (0 + 1). Germany (0 + 6) is at 35.9 with the Russian Eliseev (0 + 2) ahead of Gow (0 + 5) and Guigonnat.
Two penalty laps by Michela Carrara on the ground extinguish the blue couple while Tandrevold (0 + 2) and Dunklee (0 + 1) take advantage and make the last change with a 5 second advantage over Hauser (0 + 3), 8 on Persson (0 + 2). Julia Simon (0 + 3) leads France to lead the pursuers just over 30 seconds with Hettich (0 + 1), the Belarusian Sola (0 + 3) and Kuklina (0 + 1). Michela Carrara (2 + 3) is not wrong on her feet and Italy is sixteenth at 1.18.8.
The last stage becomes a Laegreid - Samuelsson challenge with Doherty and Eder about ten seconds ready to take advantage of it. The Norwegian (0 + 1) is 5 seconds ahead of the Swede at the last polygon (0 + 1) while Doherty (0 + 2) has the best in the challenge with Simon Eder (0 + 3) for third place. Giacomel (0 + 6) with Italy is sixteenth.
It is Samuelsson who burns Laegreid in the sprint; Sweden (0 + 7) wins with a 1.5 advantage over Norway (0 + 6). Third the United States (0 + 7) at 26.1 who keep Austria (0 + 9) off the podium for 14 seconds. Fifth Russia (0 + 7) at 1.10.8 and sixth France (2 + 14) at 1.19.3. Italy (2 + 12) is sixteenth at 2.43.7.
