Denise Herrmann gets the first zero of his career in a Sprint in addition to the best time on skis: the perfect race for the German who imposes herself in the first race after the World Championships in Anterselva with a good 27.2 seconds ahead of the French Anais Bescond, another zero of day. On the third step of the podium climbs the Czech Marketa Davidova who, for an error in the first session, pays 49.7 seconds on the finish line by the winner.
The Finnish Mari Eder is fourth (1 + 0) at 59.0 while the rest of the biathlete is over a minute in a Sprint which, for Herrmann's misfortune, will not live from the second act of the Pursuit as the stage of Nove Mesto foresees a Mass Start to close. In fifth position, despite two mistakes, Tiril Eckhoff (0 + 2) at 1.11.1 who tries to relaunch in the World Cup key with Hanna Oeberg (1 + 0), sixth six tenths behind.
Good signs are coming from Lisa Vittozzi (1 + 1) who with the tenth time on the skis closes in seventh position 1.13.7 placing herself between the pretenders to the throne and Dorothea Wierer (1 + 2) that the two standing errors relegate to 1.48. 3, in a position, beyond the twenty-second, which is for her to be considered a gap in view of the general classification of the World Cup.
