Mission accomplished! Martin Fourcade had the goal of winning four wins in the four individual World Cup trials in which the absence of Johannes Thingnes Boe was taken for granted and he reached him with authority also imposing himself in the pursuit of Ruhpolding.

The French competed with his compatriot Quentin Fillon Maillet until he conceded, in the pressure of the challenges to the OK Corral at the shooting range, an error in the first standing session which cost him the opportunity to undermine Monsieur Le Biathlon. Martin Fourcade precedes Fillon Maillet by 17.6 on the finish line while the fight for third place involves the bibs 3, 4 and 5.
Benedikt Doll with a penalty round in the first standing session risks having to say goodbye to the company but Simon Desthieux and Vetle Christiansen give him the opportunity to fly three times in the last round at the last shooting range. It has the upper hand. 46.0 from Fourcade, Christiansen burning on the Desthieux wire preventing a transalpine hat-trick while Doll finished fifth a few seconds later.
In the big French day Emilien Jacquelin placed in sixth position (3 errors but the fastest on the track today) and Antonin Guigonnat in the eighth with an error. Among them, Tarjei Boe climbs from the twenty-eighth position of the Sprint in seventh place while the young Johannes Dale is ninth with the bib number 27.
Dominik Windisch, paying one mistake per polygon, closes in thirty-third position three minutes from Fourcade while Thomas Bormolini with three errors is forty-second at 3.31.6.
