Hochfilzen: the female Relay of Norway, Italy eleventh

Thanks to an exceptional last lap of Marte Olsbu Roeiseland who reaches and crosses Elena Yurlova after Tiril Eckhoff had returned to the podium in the third stage Norway won the third consecutive victory in the World Cup in the women's relay. The Russian quartet composed of Slezptsova, Kuklina, Mironova and Yurlova precedes 8.2 seconds on the finish line. After the second place in Ostersund is still a podium, with third place for the three sisters Gasparin and Lena Haecki that closes at 1.04.1. Fourth place for Ukraine, fifth in Canada, sixth in the Czech Republic. Italy closes far away, eleventh place almost three minutes after three fractions fighting for the podium: Lisa Vittozzi at launch, also thanks to three refills, fails to win the 'umpteenth part of' start preceded by nothing from Slezptsova but brings in dowry 10 seconds ahead of the rest of the platoon. Dorothea Wierer sets the fastest time of the second fraction but fails to shake off Kuklina. In the middle of the race, Italy and Russia have a half-minute advantage Nicole Gontier keeps pace for a lap and a half of Svetlana Mironova then is forced to give up. At the last change Russia is first with 25 seconds ahead of Norway and 38 seconds on Switzerland - Italy. Federica Saniflippo loses ground with three slow refills on the ground and closes with two laps of penalty in eleventh position.
