Sappadina is the best blue card given the absence of Wierer, yesterday only 67th with 6 shooting errors and therefore not qualified for the pursuit. Dorothea, barring unforeseen circumstances, will still be there in the starting line, while Vittozzi will have to win the place. For Italy there will also be Samuela Comola, 38th at 2'25 ", fresh from the first points of her career in the World Cup and Federica Sanfilippo 54a at 3'08".
Just as Vittozzi will try the comeback also Elvira Oeberg, formally still in the running for the general crystal ball. After the Sprint the Swede pays over a minute and a half from Eckhoff and will start 17th immediately after Stina Nilsson.

In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
