The blue technical staff has in fact decided to field Lukas Hofer at the launch, Thomas Bormolini and Daniele Cappellari in the two central hamlets and Dominik Windisch in closing. With this lineup Italy in the season boasts a third and a twelfth place.

Norway and France are on the starting lines as favorites for gold. The Scandinavians have three successes in the season and defend the title won last year in Oestersund. However, they will have to deal with the transalpine quartet among the strongest ever. For the podium we will have to deal with Germany and Russia, but beware of surprises.
