At 12:00 the start of the first online start of the men's World Cup. The Norwegian battleship has a lot of cards to play for victory, but the most interesting are Laegreid and Johannes Boe. Only one Italian competing: Lukas Hofer.

As per regulation, 30 athletes will be at the start, the first 25 of the general classification of the World Cup plus the best 5 of the current stage.
For Italy there will be only Lukas Hofer, currently 17th in the overall standings of the World Cup. Didier Bionaz, author of an exceptional Pursuit closed in 19th place, as well as best placement in his career, did not manage to break the pass.

The Norwegians start as favorites: they currently occupy the first three positions of the overall and are five in the top 8. But the names to follow with interest are mainly two. First of all Johannes Boe, dry from six-race victories and therefore still on the hunt for his 50th career success, which has now become a taboo. The leader of the general classification already boasts 9 successes in the format and could therefore make a round figure.
At his side will leave the youngest teammate Sturla Holm Laegreid, who, like Eckhoff in the women's field, is hunting for a sensational hat-trick, which would lead him to be a real candidate (admitted and not granted that he already is) at the World Cup.
