At 15:00 the start of the second Hochfilzen women's pursuit, the third of the 2020/21 World Cup. Three blue at the start: Dorothea Wierer (10), Lisa Vittozzi (30) and Irene Lardschneider (59).

The first to leave the gate will be Tirill Eckhoff, already winner of the first seasonal Pursuit in Kontiolahti. The Norwegian will precede her compatriots Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (+8 ”) and Marte Roeiseland (+25”), leader of the general and specialty classification.
Together with her the German Franziska Preuss will leave and shortly after it will be the turn of the Oeberg sisters: Elvira and Hanna. In the first lap a train with a very powerful engine will form that could approach the two treads.

Thirteen athletes will start with less than a minute of gap from Eckhoff, among them also Dorothea Wierer (10) who pays 47 ”. The gap from the podium is in the order of 22 "seconds and the comeback seems within the reach of the blue champion. Lisa Vittozzi, 30a at 1’30 ", will have to try to recover from a distance. Irene Lardschneider (59) will also be at the start for Italy, whose maximum goal is the points area, which however necessarily passes from 100% to shooting.

In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
