At 2.30 pm the start of the third relay of the season, the penultimate before the Olympic Games. After the excellent team test in the Sprint, in the Azzurri team they are experimenting to find the right formula in view of the five-rim appointment. The race promises to be open and the podium could be within reach.

In the two previous seasons, in Oestersund and Hochfilzen, Italy finished in 10th and 8th place. Today we will try to climb some positions and aim for the top3. Different third quartet in as many tests and a single fixed point: Thomas Bormolini in the first fraction. In second comes the surprise Windisch who is moved from the last to make way for Hofer, while Bionaz as in Hochfilzen will be in third. Excluding Giacomel, not brilliant in the Sprint on Thursday.

At the top of the table there could be more space than habits, since Norway plays strong team B. The norge are not to be underestimated anyway and have a respectable quartet with Andersen, Aspenes, Dale and Bjoentegaad. It will be necessary to understand if they will be able to keep open the streak of 17 consecutive podium relays. The seasonal numbers speak of two Norwegian victories always obtained in front of France and Russia. Two fourth places instead for Germany, which could pay for the absence of Kuehn, while Sweden is called to redeem (7th and 5th). A tempting opportunity therefore for the French, who won the last relay on these snows in January 2020 and for the Russians, who have been missing victory for three years and in Ruhpolding since 2010.
