With a final high-level fraction the transalpine had the best of the German Vanessa Hinz and the Norwegian Marte Olsbu Røiseland. Race in the back for Italy.

In the first fraction, the Norwegian Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, back from the double podium Sprint-Pursuit, took the lead immediately to mark the rhythm. The group has thus lengthened but the first real selection took place at the second polygon, where Quentin Fillon Maillet and Erik Lesser made the difference compared to the competition, leading to flight. At the first change, France and Germany are now in the lead with 18 "on Norway and 25" on the Czech Republic. Italy, in the race with Thomas Bormolini, has instead moved into 16th place at 1'54 "from the top. During the first lap of the second part, Johannes Thingnes Bø sewed up the gap with the two treads. A trio was formed at the helm, which led the race to the fourth polygon. Here the Norwegian gave a shooting lesson to the opponents, finding the "zero" rapid, which allowed him to take command of operations. In the final round he then unleashed all the horsepower of his engine and at the second change he trimmed a good 26 "to the French Simon Desthieux and 38" to the German Benedikt Doll. Dominik Windisch, after using two refills on his feet, has climbed back to 12th position. Tiril Eckhoff has squandered all the advantage in the first series of the third fraction, in which he had to use three refills. Celia Aymonier then returned to Scandinavia, while Franziska Hildebrand with the "zero" returned to 20 "from the two treads. The Frenchman then made two errors on the feet but was good at avoiding the penalty round, which instead had to take the Norwegian. Behind Hildebrand was again perfect shooting and on the last lap he returned to the transalpine. Three-quarters of the race, France and Germany went into the lead with 18 "over Norway. After a first round of study, in the polygon on the ground of the final fraction, Anaïs Chevalier made the difference to the shot compared to Vanessa Hinz. Thus the French team approached the second round with 13 "ahead of the German and 15" on Mars Olsbu Røiseland. In the second round, the Norwegian increased the pace, mending the gap with the leader of the race. Everything was decided at the last polygon, where Chevalier was once again perfect. The Scandinavian was rather imprecise and had to start towards the 'penalty ring. In the final round the Frenchman was able to manage a good lead, finishing with a 13 "margin over Vanessa Hinz, and therefore a place of honor for Germany, which preceded Norway 3a, but at the foot of the podium there was Switzerland. 11th final place for Italy.
