In the first half Lukas Hofer used a pair of top-ups, equally distributed between the two polygons and, after falling out of the pitch at the end of the second series, handed the baton to Dorothea Wierer in 4th position 3 "from the summit.
With an excellent first lap, the South Tyrolean took the lead in operations, but missed a target on the ground. In the second round Wierer then reached and passed the Estonian and Oja and with a sensational set standing has detached the French Julia Simon of 9 ", while Austria with Hauser passed through the second change in 4th place with almost 20" of detachment.
In the third fraction Hofer has again committed a couple of errors between the two series, however, remedying well with the refills. At the end of the standing polygon was bypassed by Simon Eder, quick and accurate on all ten targets, but was good at limiting the damage, closing its fatigue to 1.4 "from the Austrian.
Wierer and Hauser then played the victory in the last fraction. After coming out of the first polygon, Wierer has increased the pace, leaving the rival in place and in the standing series gave her a shooting lesson, covering the five targets with an impressive speed. At the intermediate Wierer it passed with 15 "of margin on the Austrian and in the final round it had no problems to maintain the advantage.
