After putting the general World Cup and the Sprint, Pursuit and Individual cups on the bulletin board, today the phenomenon norge has also secured that of Mass Start.

The first two laps were very balanced and nobody really made the difference. The decisive break came at the third polygon, when Johannes Bø gave a lesson in shooting to opponents with a quick and precise series. The Norwegian took a breakaway with a reasonable margin against the Germans Peiffer, Nawrath and Doll.
During the fourth lap he then set his true pace on skis, securing an error of margin over the opponents. This bearing, however, was useless as it found another "zero" and went solo towards the 38th career victory, equaling compatriot Emil Hegle Svendsen. The seasonal victories are instead 16, an absolute dominion.
Behind Peiffer defended the place of honor from the comeback of Benedikt Doll, who won the skiing duel against Christiansen in the last lap, 5th at the finish line, passed by Julian Eberhard.
Lukas Hofer finished in 6th place, after a fall in the final, which preceded the Frenchman Simon Desthieux, Henrik L'abee-Lund, Philipp Nawrath and Tarjei Bø. The current world champion of the format, Dominik Windisch, did not go beyond 16th place.
