In the opening fraction Italy immediately dropped its ace: Dorothea Wierer. The blue did not disappoint and with an excellent performance both on skis and at the polygon, where he found the "zero" fast, closed in second place his fatigue, a handful of tenths from the French Julia Simon (0 + 0 ). Behind the top pair is the Norwegian Solemdal (0 + 0) to 14 ", while they paid a greater gap to Germany, 6th to 38" with Vanessa Hinz and Russia, 8th to 39 ".
France and Italy had a parallel race to the polygon standing in the second fraction, but Anaïs Bescond, perfect at the shooting range, pulled Federica Sanfilippo, forced instead to use two refills. The Italian in the final lap was joined by the Slovakian Paulina Fialkova and the two closed at 20 "from the transalpine. Fair performance of Laura Dahlmeier, who with only one missed target in the standing series, has returned to 4th place 43 "from the head, ahead of Norway, Sweden and Canada.
Bescond handed the baton to Justine Braisaz, who with a solid test at the shooting range has maintained the lead of the race. But behind the mvp of the third fraction was the Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff, surprisingly perfect from the pitch and literally unleashed on skis. In the standing session the Scandinavian gave a shooting lesson to Franziska Preuss and, after passing through the Intermediate with a 29 "delay from Braisaz, on the last lap she recovered 15". At the last change, Germany moved into 3rd place at 27 ", while Italy with Gontier slipped to 8th place, after having completed two laps of penalties at the end of the series on the ground.
In the fourth fraction Anaïs Chevalier had to keep the Norwegian Marte Olsbu Røiseland and the German Denise Herrmann at a distance. The transalpine opted for a conservative tactic in the fund, which allowed her to limit shooting errors. The Frenchman in the standing polygon made a mistake but quickly remedied with the refill. Behind the pursuers they were wrong in turn and lost ground against the tread. In the final round Chevalier administered the lead, finishing with 11 "on Norway (Solemdal-Tandrevold-Eckhoff-Olsbu) and 23" on Germany (Hinz-Dahlmeier-Preuss-Herrmann), to which the season continues to miss the victory.
