The calendar year 2017 opens with a great satisfaction for Italy biathlon. The men's sprint in Oberhof has indeed given the first podium of the season in the men's movement that, by just one tenth, it was not double.

Dominik Windisch has confirmed its strength in this format, finishing in third place a race in which many favorites have repeatedly had to take the penalty loop.
