It took six stages and fifteen races, but in the end the Norwegian fast in individual competition has finally been broken. About Johannes Bø, he imposed in the men's mass start in Antholz.

After a long "liquid" phase, values ​​have begun to take shape during the third lap when the Scandinavian, Martin Fourcade and Erik Lesser - all in immaculate ground shots - have gained the upper hand over their rivals, earning about fifteen seconds on closest pursuers. The other big, however, have had to score the step because of one or more errors.
In the first session standing the leading trio has become a duo, because the Catalan had to take the penalty loop, finding reached by the various Emil Hegle Svendsen, Simon Schempp and Anton Shipulin.

For his part, Fillon Mailet closed the place of honor, equaling the best result of his career. The podium was completed by Anton Shipulin that, even without taking the eye, was able to get back on top thanks to a double zero feet and the many other people's mistakes.
Svendsen and Fourcade took their seats in fourth and fifth position, ahead Beatrix and an opaque Schempp. Dominik Windisch (2 + 0 + 1 + 0), only blue in the race, finished 12th seeing his conditioning test from a double penalty in the opening accumulated.
In the overall standings of the World Cup remains firmly Fourcade leader with 824 points, against 548 of Shipulin and 522 of Schempp. Fourth and fifth Svendsen Peiffer with 461 to 457.
As regards the Schempp specialties Ranked keeps the red bib with 150 points, chased by Fourcade to 148. More detached Lesser (118), Babikov and Beatrix (109).
At 14.45 will stage the women's relay, then the World Cup will stop waiting for the Hochfilzen World Cup. The next race will be staged the World Cup on February 9 and will be the world championship mixed relay.
Waiting will celebrate the European Championships in Duszniki Zdroj, valid also for the Ibu Cup. The continental event will kick off on January 25th.
