In the early afternoon the Women's Sprint opened the Oslo stage, the penultimate of the 2017-18 World Cup.

Today the Slovak made the difference in the fund and, despite the 'mistake in the session on the ground, managed to win the fifth victory of the season in the World Cup and the top of the overall standings. At home Italy Federica Sanfilippo 36a entered the area with two penalties and Dorothea Wierer 39a with three errors, all committed in the second series. 86th place instead with five errors Nicole Gontier.
Kuzmina, taking advantage of the bad day of Kaisa Mäkäräinen, today only 40th, jumps to the top of the general standings with 673 points, six more than the Finnish. The Slovak is also the leader of the ranking of specialties with a large margin on Darya Domracheva, the first of the pursuers. Among the top athletes also struggled Dahlmeier, 28th at the end of the race.
At 2:45 pm the men's race will start, the women's chase is scheduled for Sunday at 12:00.
