Wonderful tracking the World Championships in Hochfilzen. Dahlmeier triumphs ahead of Domracheva and KoukalovÃ¡!

More tracking so you die. The women's pursuit of Hochfilzen World Cup has really lived up to its name and has given yet another avalanche of emotions of this event World Championship so far wonderful.

The race started in the sign of laura dahlmeier and Gabriela KoukalovÃ¡ immediately ricompattatesi and able to keep a sostenutissimo pace in the opening round. With hindsight, the first polygon has immediately proved decisive for the outcome of the competition. The German has in fact wrong once, while the Czech had to deal with repeated problems downloading the bullets that have lost a lot of time and they have definitely affected his double fault. The Bavarian then took command of operations with a small margin of Anais Chevalier and 25 "ahead of a large group pulled by Kaisa MÃ¤kÃ¤rÃ¤inen, which included also the blue Lisa Vittozzi and Federica Sanfilippo, both forced to travel once a ' penalty loop. KoukalovÃ¡ was separated by 42 "by the tread, however, proving literally possessed on the next lap, to the point of forcefully recover ground on the narrow skis, even on extreme close rivals such as, precisely, the Finnish. The second shooting session and the third round proved almost stakeholders in the economy of the race, however, bringing out from behind a shining Darya Domracheva, playing with the bib number 27 and able to return to racing for the podium. The first standing shooting has rather heavily changed the cards on the table behind Dahlmeier that - clean two times after the initial penalty - kept the lead with a reassuring advantage, albeit far from decisive. The ranks of the pursuers was decidedly grainy. In hunting Teutonic remained only MÃ¤kÃ¤rÃ¤inen, Domracheva and KoukalovÃ¡, all separated by a few seconds of the one from the other. The Italian still share (Sanfilippo and rimontante Wierer) are left the scene of the fight for the podium. The result is an impressive power struggle between the tread to act as a hare, with the three rivals to make up ground in parallel, thus remaining equidistant from each other. At the last shooting range, the German has managed to up its sequence shooting, searching and finding zero, however, also made by Belarusian and Czech. The sinivalkoinen instead missed one target and you are called out of contention for the podium. Last lap Dahlmeier unleashed all his horses and won the gold medal, becoming the second athlete in history to win two consecutive world titles in pursuit. In the past the company was only able to Magdalena Forsberg (1997 and 1998). It is also the seventh individual podium (2-3-2) within the Bavarian champion. Silver for a wonderful Domracheva, able to settle the place of honor despite the high starting bib (27). It is not a record, as in 2000, the French Florence Baverel was able to go to thirty-second shooting medal, but it is a comeback that certifies as thirty Belarus has fully returned to the top of its potential. It is not the first in the context of the World Cup for the thirty year old from Minsk, who already in 2009 was able to close the fifth starting with the fifty-three. Moreover Dasha can celebrate the milestone of the podium number 70 (the first, however, after becoming a mother), and the fifth at the World Cup (2-2-1). The bronze went to a moving KoukalovÃ¡, which gave the soul to gather the third career world championship medal (1-1-1) despite the heavy setback suffered at the initial polygon. How it would end without those problems? Unfortunately we'll never know. At the foot of the podium stood two girls capable of great recoveries. Fourth Russian Irina Starykh (+20 differential favored by shoot-out shooting) and fifth French Justine Braisaz (+23), author of a parallel test to that of Domracheva except for an error on the second polygon. Speaking of France, Marie Dorin Habert she finished sixth, sunk by a double penalty at the third pitch, while a discouraged Kaisa MÃ¤kÃ¤rÃ¤inen was satisfied the seventh place. In Italy the best house was Dorothea Wierer (1 + 0 + 2 + 0), tenth. Lisa Vittozzi (1 + 1 + 1 + 0) is instead slipped to fourteenth place, ahead un'Alexia Runggaldier - fifteenth - able to go back twenty-eight squares relying on accuracy (0 + 0 + 0 + 0). It closed the posse Federica Sanfilippo (1 + 0 + 3 + 0), seventeenth and victim of an inconvenience. After three errors in the third pitch was wrong to count the penalty turns and has made four instead of three! Translated, without the generous concession to the opponent would have concluded eleventh suffered in the wake Wierer. In the overall standings of the World Cup - calculated net of rejects - Dahlmeier raise it to 780 points and back to gain ground on KoukalovÃ¡ (728).
