Band of Heroes, Christof Innerhofer

In Rossignol's Band of Heroes at the starting gate of Kitzbühel Christof Innerhofer could not miss, linked to the transalpine brand practically from the age of 7 years. In the fantastic picture designed to encourage the heroes of the next generation, we see Inner busy to motivate the local Emma Hofer, sitting on his shoulders.

Christof Innerhofer was born on December 17, 1984 in Brunico, in the province of Bolzano, and is a resident of Gais. Inner was the most mediated man in Italian men's alpine skiing in recent years. At the World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2011 he took home even three metals of different colors: first the gold in super-G, then the bronze down and finally the silver in combination. Also at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, he won the title, winning the silver downhill and the bronze combined. In the World Cup he debuted in 2006 and so far he has collected 6 victories, 4 downhill in Bormio in 2008, in Beaver Creek, Wengen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the 2012-2013 season, he also won the 2011 Bansko combined and the superG of the 2012 Schladming finals. He has also climbed 10 more times on the podium, 5 on the second step and 5 on the lower one. In the World Cup standings he was second in the combined one in 2011, fourth in the descent in 2013 and eighth and tenth in the overall respectively in 2011 and 2013. The declared goal of this season is to return to win a race, since he feels very competitive and has no more pains because of his injuries and his chronic back problems that in recent times have hit him and both in the descent of Lake Louise that in that of Val Gardena has shown he can reach the big target by placing second and collecting his 17th podium in the Cup.
