Biography: Anna Hofer, born on February 28, 1988 in Brunico, was an Italian speed specialist. Raised in the South Tyrol system and racing for the Army team, she earned World Cup top-30 results and Europa Cup podiums in downhill and super-G. Powerful, stable skiing, very effective on difficult terrain. She gave depth to the Italian women’s speed team for many seasons. After retiring she stayed close to skiing and mountain life.
