Biography: Irene Curtoni, born on August 11, 1985 in Échirolles and raised in Valtellina, was an Italian all-rounder with strong focus on technical events, especially slalom and giant slalom. She scored numerous World Cup top-ten finishes and played a key role in team standings. Curtoni raced at World Championships and Olympic Games, becoming a reference point for her consistency and experience. She was known for her fighting spirit, snow feel and versatility in different conditions. After retiring she moved into TV commentary and media, becoming an important voice for alpine skiing.
