Biography: Raphael Haaser is an Austrian all rounder born in 1997 in Innsbruck who competes at a high level in giant slalom and super G. After making his World Cup debut in 2020, he took his first podium in the Bormio super G in December 2021 and quickly became one of the leaders of the Austrian team in the speed technical events. At the 2023 World Championships in Courchevel Meribel he claimed the bronze medal in the alpine combined, following in the footsteps of his sister Ricarda, who had done the same on the women s side, and at the 2025 Saalbach Worlds he won the gold medal in the men s giant slalom in front of the home crowd. His consistency, clean technique and ability to be fast in both giant slalom and super G have allowed him to fight for podiums in the discipline standings as well. (aggiornamento: )
