Biography: Stephan Keppler, born in 1983, was a key member of the German speed team in the 2000s and early 2010s. A downhill and super-G specialist, he earned a World Cup podium with his second place in the super-G on the Saslong in Val Gardena in 2010 and collected several other top-ten results. He represented Germany at World Championships and on all the major classic speed venues, showing courage and excellent gliding skills.
