Biography: Lucia Recchia, born on January 8, 1980 in Rovereto, is a former Italian speed specialist. Racing for Fiamme Gialle, she spent many seasons on the World Cup tour, earning several top-ten results in downhill and super-G. She represented Italy at World Championships and Winter Olympic Games, contributing to the strong Italian women’s speed team of the 2000s. Her skiing was solid, well-structured and effective on gliding sections. After retiring she remained closely connected to mountain and sports activities. (aggiornamento: )
