Loic Meillard won the slalom Obereggen. Tenth Thomas Hall

The Swiss Loic Meillard won quest''oggi Obereggen the third slalom of the season in the European Cup circuit.

The original twenty year old from Neuchâtel has laid the foundation for today's success during the first descent where he set the fastest run time trimming heavy detachments on the main opponents among which stood out the world champion Jean-Baptiste Grange charge and Norwegian Leif Kristian Haugen and Jonathan Nordbotten respectively first and second in the first race for the rapid gates of Cadets. Meillard considered like her sister Melanie one of the biggest promises of the Swiss school, trailing by 19 cents a positive Grange climbed in the second race from the seventh position and 33 cents the Swiss Daniel Yule who had finished the first race in ninth place. Precious fourth place for Leif Kristian Haugen off 65 cents from the peak, that with this result and the complicity of the 'lack of direct rival Marc Digruber strengthens its leadership both in the ranking of specialties than in the general. Complete the top-five a disappointed Jonathan Nordbotten that due to a second run not quite flawless lost three positions relative to the first heat. Tenth place for the best blues Thomas Hall who completed his test with a gap of 1 "57 from the leadership. The twenty-bearer of the Golden Flame on home snow took the best result of the season even if perhaps the 'Lombard athlete pottuto would get something more having finished the first run fifth. Sixteenth and Nineteenth streets to David Villa and Andrea Ballerin From the other two Italians who have qualified for the second round. The next appointment with the European circuit of alpine skiing is scheduled tomorrow afternoon in Val di Fassa where you scheduled another slalom.
