At Copper Mountain the blue "break" downhill, as is Shiffrin now ready to return to Europe

Yesterday a quality training, in difficult weather conditions, with Goggia and companions who will remain in Colorado until next November 20th. In the meantime, Magoni points strongly on tomorrow's parallel in Lech / Zuers for his Hrovat.

A lot of snow has arrived in Copper Mountain in the last few hours and in the “Speed Center” we are working hard, among the various national teams present in the reference location to prepare the speed races for the next few weeks. The Italian national team is now dedicating itself to downhill training, with Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone who, on Wednesday, "outgassed" relying among other things on training in weather conditions that are not very simple, ideal for having those variables that could be found in the three Lake Louise races (3-5 December). First there will be Killington, with the giant on November 27th; the eight blue present in Colorado will remain in Copper Mountain until the previous weekend, before moving to Vermont, while Mikaela Shiffrin will leave for Europe in the next few hours. Giving up the parallel of Lech / Zuers, which in any case the cup leader would not have disputed beyond the back problems accused in recent days, Mikaela continued training on the home snow also working on the descent, just thinking about Lake Louise. Levi's last pre-slalom week (20-21 November), arriving directly in Finland, will instead dedicate it to narrow poles. On the other hand, the Swiss led by Marco Odermatt arrived at Copper Mountain only yesterday, working on speed together with Loic Meillard and Justin Murisier, who will focus mainly on the three super-gs planned between Lake Louise and Beaver Creek. Returning to the women's sector, however, it is time for the eve of Saturday's parallel in Lech / Zuers: many absences, as is known, but also some expected protagonists and a loose cannon that responds to the name of Meta Hrovat. The young Slovenian, as her coach Livio Magoni explained to us, will arrive today in Austria after putting together ten days of work in Levi between slalom and PGS (on different snow conditions), with the Bergamo coach who defined a lot good preparation for the discipline that we will see tomorrow. Yesterday the flight from Helsinki to Munich, today a last session in the gym at the base in Vipiteno before moving to the Arlberg area. Next Monday, Hrovat will return to Finland again aiming to do well in the two slaloms on the Levi Black, with the goal of passing for the 2nd heat in a specialty in which he still has to grow a lot. Then there will be Killington, where all the greats will meet ...
