An infernal battle between Petra Vlhova and Mikaela Shiffrin, who should have room to play with each other what would be the fourth victory in Levi's slalom for the Slovakian or the fifth for the great American rival, who is looking for an encore after the success in the giant opening in Soelden.
Eleven cents divide them, then after the 1st heat we find Andreja Slokar splendid in third place, 48 cents from the top, with the returning Anna Swenn-Larsson great fourth at 55, in turn preceding Gisin, Liensberger (partly disappointing, sixth at 72 cents) and Duerr, the other athletes who could remain in contention for the podium area.
Swiss tracking for the decisive heat, which could also see Wendy Holdener recover, eighth at 93 cents from Vlhova.

Only one blue at the starting gate of the decisive heat: it is Martina Peterlini, who qualified with the 22nd time, 1 ”84 from Vlhova but not too far from the top ten (65 cents). Out of the other six Italians in the race, from Rossetti to Gulli, Bassino, Della Mea, Mathiou and Midali, this last outing during the first heat.
