An authentic show by Sofia Goggia, 4 years after that wonderful triumph of 2018 with the first red bib in her career, less than a month before the Olympic gold in PyeongChang.

Able to ignite the public, albeit reduced back on the track in the extraordinary scenario of Cortina, really like no one, Sofia beat by two tenths the one who proposed herself as the main rival, that Ramona Siebenhofer who scored twice here in 2019. At 26, here is Ester Ledecka's first podium of the season, which forces Corinne Suter to fourth place, at + 0 ”33 and 4 cents ahead of Mirjam Puchner and with 11 over compatriot Michelle Gisin, still a great sixth in the return.
Out of the top ten, completed by Reisinger (great race), Mowinckel, Gut-Behrami (9th and furious for the wind situation, with strong gusts also in the central section) and Weidle, the other blue in the race with many regrets especially for Federica Brignone, who finishes 17th at 1 ”18 with a sensational mistake in Rumerlo, when he was only 11 cents from Goggia.
