At 8.30pm Italian, the second descent test at Lake Louise will start (weather permitting), in view of the two women's races scheduled on Friday and Saturday on the "Men''s Olympic" (always at 8.30pm), which will anticipate the super-g on Sunday at the end of the first speed weekend for girls.
As at the first test, in which the American Alice McKennis signed the best time and the surprise (but not too much) that responds to the name of Kajsa Vickhoff Lie, tonight it will be Nicole Schmidhofer again to open the gate first; to be carefully evaluated the tests of Weirather (4), Venier (5) and the same McKennis with the 6, with Sofia Goggia before the six blue at the start, with the bib 9 and before Corinne Suter (11), of the companion of team Nicol Delago (13), Michelle Gisin (15), Mikaela Shiffrin, third yesterday and with bib 16, while the first 20 Ilka Stuhec and Federica Brignone will close.
The Valdostana, after having renounced the first test on the track, will regularly take off and then bet everything on Sunday's super-g, while Elena Curtoni will have 25, Francesca Marsaglia on 27 and Nadia Delago on 34. Fifty-one registered athletes, the very young Lie (remember, class '98) will be released for 28th.
