Will Federica Brignone try to repeat herself on the Stade Emile-Allais after the 2019 triumph? Most likely yes, given that for the double giant of the World Cup scheduled for Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December in Courchevel, we are heading towards confirmation.
The snow emergency is now averted, with the arrival of precipitation in the last few hours and another strong disturbance expected on Friday in the Haute-Savoie area; as reported by "Ski Chrono", today's FIS snow check has been postponed by 48 hours, or rather for Friday when, unless there are surprises, the awaited green light for the second and third specialty appointment will arrive of the women's sector.
As in the case of Val d''Isère for the men's speed races, officially confirmed yesterday (the OK is expected next week for the women's tests on 18-20 December on the "OK"), the FIS has granted time trusting in the organization which, through the voice of Bruno Tuaire himself (director of the Courchevel sports club that organizes the CdM stage), has given ample guarantees. “The FIS has confidence in our ability to produce snow and prepare the track in the best possible way, which on Friday we should secure with the beating of the track”, confirmed Tuaire after today's inspection with Markus Mayr and Fabien Saguez.
