Anna Veith also returns in super-g: training sessions in Reiteralm, on Saturday we will see her in Sankt Moritz

After failing to qualify as a giant in Killington, and the Lake Louise weekend jumped to get ready in Europe, the Austrian champion reassures speed.

The first step for his return was made, with the participation in the giant of Killington that certainly saw her in difficulty in the first run, without getting the qualification on the day of the new embrace at the World Cup, eleven months after Semmering. Anna Veith, however, is getting better and better and after the last days of work in Reiteralm together with her team mates (some have prepared the parallel scheduled for Sunday), she has decided to present herself at the start of a maximum circuit speed race; the Olympic champion of Sochi 2014 will in fact be at the starting gate Saturday, in that of Sankt Moritz, for the super-g in the Engadine that follows the weekend of Lake Louise that, instead, the Salzburg champion has completely jumped to continue in the its growth path. Anna had announced that she wanted to get closer to speed with great calm, excluding the descent from the programs for at least the next few weeks, but the Sankt Moritz race fit perfectly into a relaunch program as a technical track like the Corviglia represents an excellent opportunity to improve and return at least to the level that saw her, two years ago in Val d''Isère, get the last success in the World Cup. In the Swiss resort, among other things, Veith has good memories having collected two podiums in super-g: in 2013 behind Weirather and Kling, in 2015 beaten only by Lindsey Vonn.
