Federica Brignone, second in Bansko's downhill run today, comments on today's race together with Francesca Marsaglia, twelfth, and Nadia Delago, twenty-fifth. Federica Brignone: â€œIt was an anomalous descent, almost a giant that had only a few points where you could stay in position. The terrain was hard and with long curves, the only thing changed during the race was visibility, because from the number 25 onwards the sun came and I can assure you that it was really better. I am very satisfied, I had already skied well during the test, I conducted the curves very well on a track that fascinates me, maybe even the downhill skiers found themselves in difficulty with all those long diagonals. It is my second downhill podium on one of the most technical slopes, in Bad Kleinkirchheim two years ago the organizers had shortened the track, but this was a real descent. The fight in the upper areas of the ranking is becoming exciting as well as the season, I came back second in the general but I still don't look at it too much and I only think about attacking every time I come out of the gate. I am very happy for the excellent team result, sorry for Sofia's crash, we try again on Saturday because I can still eat a few cents, hoping to get a bib around 20 ". Francesca Marsaglia: "I am happy with my performance, with my number it was very dark and in different conditions than the test. Of the attitude I put into the race I am satisfied, it is obvious that a twelfth place could have been perhaps something better , I can improve skiing in some corners, but with the same luve it would have been better for everyone. I want to convey today's positive sensations also on Saturday ". Nadia Delago: "It was not an easy race, in addition to the difficulty of the track, the one that the lower bibs had the first part in the shade was added and you had to ski well, to put something more in it.
