A thrilling descent, in every sense. That of Sofia Goggia, who gives and gives herself a crazy risk to compression, landing on the queues and losing those decisive cents for a lack of victory, in the same point where Nicole Schmidhofer falls badly, in a descent of Val d''Isère, the before the World Cup season, interrupted for over 20 minutes to free the Austrian champion and take her away in the toboggan, but fortunately conscious according to the first info arrived from the OESV press office.

In third place Breezy Johnson (already very fast in practice), on the first podium of his career at 24, with only two tenths of a gap from Suter, then here is the return to good levels of Ilka Stuhec, fourth at + 0 "65, with Nina Ortlieb who only partially saves the Austrian budget with fifth place, 97 hundredths behind and one tenth better than Ester Ledecka.
