A battle on the edge of cents. The first round of the opening round of the European Cup, or the giant at night on the Norwegian snows of Trysil, keeps everything open in view of the decisive run, scheduled at 20.00.
Switzerland leads with Simone Wild, waiting to return to high levels and leading with only 3 hundredths of a margin over landlady Marte Monsen, and 8 over Austrian Elisa Moerzinger. At the 4th place the surprise of the day, the Swedish Sara Rask distant 30 cents, then at 4 tenths here is the first of the 10 blue in the race, an excellent Asja Zenere who lost practically everything in the final part of the track.
In the top ten also Luisa Bertani, seventh at 81 cents, and just outside Valentina Cillara Rossi (playing with the bib number 1), 12th with 1 â€18 of posting. Very distant, instead, are Elena Sandulli, Elisa Platino, Carlotta Saracco, Sofia Pizzato, Vivien Insam, Giulia Paventa and Francesca Fanti: none of them will return in the 30.
